The building was constructed in 1883, and remains on the historic registry now operating as a museum displaying original Red Wing Thorobred marine engines and significant relics that you must see for yourself.
The Red Wing Boat Manufacturing Co dating back to 1903 was a pillar in Red Wing for many years. This factory supported the consumers need for pleasure crafts and during World War I developed 4-cycle engines for lifeboats carried by B29 bombers.
