1. Randy’s
Whatever you get, just put their ranch on it and ask for Sara, the owner, she’s a day brightener! She has the best fish tacos. Sara brings the Baja to MN!

2. Blue Dog Café
Get to Welch and get some breakfast! The breakfast bowls rock—creative and locally sourced, always something different. Check their hours and get a reservation so you don’t miss out.

3. The Scarlet
Best patio & best ambiance. If my husband and I get a sitter, we usually go there. Watermelon salad, crab Rangoon dip, mojo pork or Swedish meatballs will not disappoint. And for fun—a mimosa flight!

4. Hay Creek Valley Camp
aka Dressens—get on your bicycle, take the Hay Creek Trail and grab a beer and a Bison Burger. It’s rustic, it’s fun and it’s just down the road (Hwy 58 if you’re driving).

5. The Barrel House
Cozy, relaxing bar with some fun pizzas. Try the beer cheese pizza and stay for the live music, usually on the weekends.

1. Staghead
Date Night favorite. Pan Seared Salmon and a Staghead Burger. For those who know me… surprise, I get the Salmon.

2. Bayside Tap & Steakhouse
Friday Night with the family. Can’t miss with the Onion Gouda Burger. They have great steaks but try the Porterhouse Pork Chop!

3. Kelly’s Taphouse & Grill
Lunch with a view! Everything is great but we can’t pass on the Friday fish fry. Don’t forget some cheese curds for the table.

4. Hanisch Bakery & Coffee Shop
My Brunch stop. You have to try the grilled paninis and grilled sandwiches with some chili. Great on those cold days. Don’t forget to grab ANYTHING from the bakery on the way out.

5. Rancho Loco
A favorite for lunch and after work. Don’t mess around, order the Molcajete Ranchero for the table with your group.

6. Liberty’s Restaurant & Lounge
My Breakfast stop with friends and business partners. Great French Toast and you can’t pass up some post-hockey game pizza.

1. Fiesta Mexicana
The atmosphere is so bright and cheery, and you really can’t go wrong with anything on the menu.

2. River Sushi
A wonderful family-owned restaurant. IMG is my go-to with an edamame appetizer.

3. Mandy’s
The perfect coffee – this is the place to get business done and chat with friends. Everyone feels welcome here.

4. Godfather’s Pizza
The lunchtime buffet makes for a quick lunch with a great variety. It also pairs perfectly with antique shopping.

5. Bev’s Cafe
You can’t leave here hungry; the food and portions are amazing. My go-to is the Eggs Benedict.
