The Red Wing Park Naturalists and Red Wing Arts agree that fall is a special time of year for natural beauty so they are partnering to offer a Fall Color Hike and Paint event. In this two part class you will begin by hiking He Mni Can (Barn Bluff) with a Park naturalist to observe the spectacular colors and learn about what causes this seasonal change. Following the hike you will head to the Red Wing Arts Clay and Creative Center where you will join instructor Cherish Haskell to create a fall leaf water color using nature as your inspiration! Please dress for the weather and plan for a roughly 2 mile hike that includes steep and rocky terrain.
Ages 7+ with Adult
