Community members are invited to join the park naturalist and local city council members for a hike! Meet us at the Billings-Tomfohr Conservation Area (the bluff by the middle school). We’ll go on a leisurely hike through the wooded looping trails while sharing ideas, questions, and concerns with our elected officials. Meet at the Neal Street Trailhead. Join the Park Naturalist to explore the trail system in the Hay Creek Unit of the Richard Dorer State Forest. Follow Hay Creek Trail to a signed day-use area, there is a large parking lot, outhouse, and picnic pavilion. Dress for the weather, possible mud, and bring a flashlight in case it gets dark.
