Join GCHS for “The LeDuc Estate: The History, the Family, and the Paranormal” presented by Matt Carter, Executive Director of the Dakota County Historical Society!
William Gates LeDuc and his family lived in the city of Hastings in what is now known as the LeDuc Estate. William was a Quartermaster General during the Civil War and became fascinated with spiritualism and even conducted his own seances. This presentation will not only explore Minnesota ‘s territorial history, but also the unknown through Victorian Spiritualism and seances.
“Stories at GCHS” is the newest program series offered by the Goodhue County Historical Society. Stories at GCHS takes place quarterly and features exceptional historians who will engage you in a wide range of topics with connections to the natural and cultural history of Goodhue County.
