The Goodhue County History Center offers a look into the area’s past, including Native Americans who lived in the area and the impacts of the pottery, shoe manufacturing, and agricultural industries on the city and state and more.
Red Wing’s scenic location is perfect for a Great River Road Fall Color Tour or a Mississippi Ramble to see bald eagles, tundra swans, and other birds depending upon the time of year.
Visitors seeking a more adventurous day trip from Red Wing can bike the Cannon Valley Trail, golf, rock climb, or mountain bike, all while taking in scenic bluff views and vistas.
5382-Queen
River enthusiasts can spend a day sailing on Lake Pepin, fishing, or watch the famous paddle boats American Queen, Mississippi Queen, and Queen of the Mississippi coming up the river.
