On Saturday, April 7, participate in several hands-on activities both in and outside of the Goodhue County History Center. Enjoy programming for all ages that focuses on Goodhue County’s ties to agriculture! April’s Free Family Fun Day features a unique variety of experiences facilitated by our partners at the Oliver Hudson Kelley Grange, ArtReach, and Goodhue County 4-H!
Bring the whole family to the Goodhue County History Center to participate in farm related activities which highlight some themes from the agriculture exhibit. An exhibit interpreter will be on site to share historic stories with you. Our friends from Oliver Hudson Kelley Grange will teach you how to make your own butter, lead you in a crop art mosaic activity, and give you all the materials you need to create your own cattle puppets! Explore the park outside the Goodhue County History Center to experience the petting zoo, with animals provided by the Goodhue County 4-H. A farm themed Family Story Time will take place at 1 PM and 2 PM.
