Check out Free Family Fun Day at the Goodhue County History Center! From 12 – 3 PM on Saturday, February 3, visit the History Center for an afternoon centered on electricity!
This winter, the Goodhue County Historical Society will host the traveling exhibit Electrifying Minnesota. During this month’s Free Family Fun Day, families are invited to participate in science related crafts and activities which will bring some of the themes from this exhibit to life. Did you know that play dough can illuminate lights? Children of all ages can see how this is possible during our hands-on science experiment. Older kids will have the opportunity to make circuit bugs, this activity will encourage creative crafting skills and challenge mature participants. Families can also use this opportunity to experience this exhibit with the help of our exhibit interpreters, watch the magic school bus, and enjoy our family story time at 1 PM and 2 PM.
Free admission and activities begin at 12 PM. This event is made possible through the support of Xcel Energy.
